This time, I re-ordered two Pelikan M1000 nibs (EF size) from Appelboom.
It is just like Appelboom ordered directly from Pelikan factory with high quality.
They are really amazing nibs. The nibs are wet and smooth and they provide a small pleasant feedback.
These Pelikan M1000 Extra Fine nibs give a slight thicker nib than Pelikan M1000 F size and a very similar size comparing to F-M size from Japanese nibs, at least from Sailor and Pilot nibs that I have. I really love the nibs. Thank you Mr. Joost.

I have three M1000 Broad nibs. One came in immediately handy when I dropped a pen (and it is a rule when you drop without the cap a pen will land right on the tines!).

They are a good value because:

a. they are very consistent in craftsmanship from Germany;

b. interchangeable with the normal M1000 green stripe but also the M1000 special editions (such as Sunrise Raden), so the one base pen can be like many pens when you change from F to M to B nib

c. excellent service and packaging from Appelboom. Do not worry where your package is or when it will arrive, Joost and Co. have it covered!

Pelikan M1000 nib

I brought two Pelikan M1000 nibs (F size) from Appelboom. They were delivered pretty fast. The nibs are brand new and they both are working very well out of the box. The nibs are wet, smooth and consistent. The size of the F nib is exactly what I need and expect from a Pelikan nib. It is not too small and not too big, just right for me. I have been using them with J-Herbin Perle Noire ink for a few months and so far I have absolutely no problem (no skipping, no ink-starvation, no rail-road problem). Long story short, I love the nibs well-selected and delivered from Appelboom.
