Alter Ego

Alter Ego is a series of writing instruments consisting of fountain pens as well as roller ball and ballpoint pens, designed by Jan Zander using two precious materials: ebonite and grenadilla wood. Ebonite is a particularly hard rubber formed from natural rubber and sulphur and can be processed with a very high degree of precision. Grenadilla, a deep brown to black hardwood, is an ironwood – an absolutely perfect natural material for writing instruments.
