The new Classic Anello “Black Resin“ writing implements illustrate how our writing culture can be enriched by some unusual nuances. Several segments of black-coloured precious resin, separated by fine platinum-plated rings, form the barrel andgive this series its name: anello is Italian for ring. A fascinating contrast: the black-coloured segments made of precious resin and the brilliant butgracefully slender rings of preciousmetal. On picking up one of these pens or pencils you immediately senseits perfection – the parts are so preciselymanufactured that they forma single smooth surface with almostimperceptible joins. The mechanisms and features correspondto the existing Classic series: plated rings, form the barrel and give this series its name: anello is Italian for ring. A fascinating contrast: the gleaming ivory-coloured segments made of precious resin and the brilliant but gracefully slender rings of precious metal. On picking up one of these pens or pencils you immediately sense its perfection – the parts are so precisely manufactured that they form a single smooth surface with almost imperceptible joins. In 1761, Kaspar Faber started to produce pencils in Stein, near Nuremberg. When the fourth generation,Baron Lothar von Faber, took over the company in 1839 he turned the pencil into a true quality product and the world's first branded writing instrument. Over the centuries, he and his descendants created remarkable products. The result is the Graf von Faber-Castell Collection, a range of extraordinary writing instruments and accessories. They embody "Luxury in Simplicity" by combining selected materials, functionality and superb aesthetics.  ..

From the first glance the precious writing implements from the new Anello Classic Collection seduce one into taking them into one’s hand. Fountain pens, rollerballs, propelling ballpoints and propelling pencils have ebony barrels into which filigree rings have been incorporated. They dominate the purist look of the writing implements and lend the collection its name – "Anello" (Italian for "ring").  What forms a refined contrast visually proves to be a perfect tactile combination: the transitions between the grenadilla wooden segments and the delicate precious metal rings are barely perceptible. Lying optimally in the hand, the writing instruments have pleasantly even surfaces which give the impression the barrels are made out of one single piece.
