Italy's first pen producer, Montegrappa, began manufacturing pens in 1912 in its factory in Bassano del Grappa in Italy. The Montegrappa Fortuna Mosaico Mosca is inspired by the colour palette of Vasily Kandisky. This artist was born in Moscow, and is credited with being one of the first to create a purely abstract work.
