I ordered Pelican Nib...Received email stating the F version was not in stock, giving me a choice of cancelling or waiting. I waited and a short-time later the nib arrived. Carefully packaged. Nib is great. A great price. I will be ordering other products in the future.

I have the Pelikan M1000the, M805 and the other two sizes of the Souverän line and the nib of the M1000 is my absolute favorite! It writes smoothly and gives a lot of ink to the paper. It’s also a little bouncy although it’s NOT a flex nib! That’s how I ruined my original nib and I needed a replacement…..
The price on the nib was the lowest I could find in a trusted store and the service and delivery was also impeccable.

This review is mostly about the seller. I find this company very reliable, responsive and responsible. The prices are very reasonable. The nib is, of course, unparalleled! Of my over 100 fountain pen collection, Pelikan is my number one choice; the mostI have are high end Pelikan pens. I just needed some extra nibs, and this suit just fine.

Got a default medium nib on the Raden release which was unusable. Swapped with EF which was promptly delivered by Mr. Joost and the pen is finally usable now.

The nib is bouncy and now very smooth especially for an F. It did not arrive that way. Out of the box it was misaligned and writing scratchy on the right and up and right strokes. While I would have expected more of Pelikan’s QC, I was pleased and impressed by how Appelboom handled it. They sent an express label at no cost to me, had their nib specialist adjust the nib and got it back to me here in the US within a few days. The nib is good but the service was excellent.

Because this was a Pelikan nib I was already expecting a product of superior quality, and I was not disappointed. There is a great variety of line widths possible with this nib and it is now permanently in place on my pen. What truly impressed me is the speed of the shipping. I had expected to wait a long time because it was coming form overseas. Excellent product with excellent service!

This nib was excellently fashioned and fit precisely in all of the M1000 Pelikans I have; cleans easily and has the customary bouncyness and maximum wetness one can expect form a finely crafted product like this.

After a few months of waiting, I finally received this EF nib. Replacing from a OM nib, this EF is not a fine a point as I was hoping for. A slight feedback but nonetheless a GOOD nib.

The M1000 nib I purchased is a medium. I choose this size based on the knowledge that Pelikan nibs
are approximately one size wider than your normal German made nib. My impression of
the large #8 nib was its size and what a beautiful two tone nib. The nib has a pleasant spring to it when writing that allow for some line variation. It has excellent ink flow and writes smoothly on the Rhodia and Tomoe River paper I use. I am very pleased with my purchase from Appelboom which included a
Technician check that the nib was perfect.

The M1000 is one of my favorite pens in the domain of size 8 nibs. I have the pen with F nib and I brought both B and EF this time from Appelboom. The B nib is smooth and that it is almost without any feedback. There is limited line variations and it is wet. It puts down a lot of ink however still dries within a reasonable amount of time. This is not the nib for Asian characters in general like Japanese or Chinese or those who writes small letters. The Pelikan M1000 B is more than a B and close to BB from Montblanc 149. The EF nib is just as well polished but there will be a slight feedback vs the B nib. It is also smooth and wet. The EF nib has line width close to the F nib but can produce more line variations. It is great for writing normal to small letters and Asian characters. I like the EF nib better than the original F nib on my M1000. All the M1000 nibs are springy vs M800 ones and they are a pleasure to write with.

This time, I re-ordered two Pelikan M1000 nibs (EF size) from Appelboom.
It is just like Appelboom ordered directly from Pelikan factory with high quality.
They are really amazing nibs. The nibs are wet and smooth and they provide a small pleasant feedback.
These Pelikan M1000 Extra Fine nibs give a slight thicker nib than Pelikan M1000 F size and a very similar size comparing to F-M size from Japanese nibs, at least from Sailor and Pilot nibs that I have. I really love the nibs. Thank you Mr. Joost.
