Was reluctant to buy a nib for my M1000 as I love the Fine nib but secretly wanted an EF. After selling a painting I treated myself and I have no regrets. I’m amazed at how well made these pens are and how easy it is to swap out the nib. Look forward to growing my Pelikan collection.
I previously purchased a Pelikan M800 with BB nib from Joost, and I am very pleased with it!
I purchased the M1000 BB nib to replace another nib that came with my M1000. So far, I am very pleased with this nib as well!! It's very smooth and wet and lays down a beautiful double broad line. If you like juicy broad nibs, and have been undecided, I would encourage you to order one. I don't think you 'll be disappointed!
I have a pélikan M1000 with a medium nib, that is very very wet; I bought an EF nib, the order, price, delivery were smooth and easy. I really enjoy re discovering my pen with this new nib more suitable for everyday usage.
I bought the Double Broad nib. I had wanted to get one for my M1000 for a while. When I heard they were making them again, I ran to Appelboom and snatched one up! The package came quickly. The nib was nicely tuned and juicy. I love it! Highly recommend!!!
Purchased the Pelikan M1000 EF nib as the F nib was too wide. After reading several others’ musings about the EF, I found it to be outstanding. Definitely a narrower line, but still quite flexible for intentional line variation. The feedback, which is often the concern for many with EF nibs, was truly minimal in my experience. In fact, the feel was almost every bit as smooth as the F M1000 nib. And as always, the service and delivery from Appelboom was outstanding.
I have found that the Pelikan M1000 are the best of all fountain pen nibs. I purchased the use in sections custom made for other fountain pens I have to make them better writers.
