Zeer tevreden! Het wisselen vd penpunten is een makkie en voor het geld hoef je het niet te laten. De Lamy Safari is één van mijn meest favoriete pennen. De duurdere vulpennen reserveer ik voor thuis en de Safari is ideaal voor onderweg!
I’ve purchased a fine nib, to be able to swap out the EF (extra fine) nib that I ordered with my al-star, if needed.
While I have not done the swap yet, videos of the process seem straightforward.
The EF nib is not dry, and provides beautiful feedback on the Midori paper. It’s not uncomfortable, it’s precise and flows beautifully. It can seem smoother on 100gsm paper but that is user preference.
Heerlijk !
I've got an EF, a F and a stub (1.1)
The EF is thinner than expected, the F closing on a medium and the stub sadly not very sharp.
With a CP1 feed, flow is always good, wet, except for the EF which is still not dry, more on the average.
The black ones are prettier and go well with all black pens.
I bought this nib as a spare nib just in case. Because when a fountain pen falls on the floor they somehow always seem to land on the nib.
The nice thing about Lamy nibs is that they are very affordable in contrast with some other brands where for the lower cost fountain pens the the nib is almost as expensive as the pen itself.
The fine nib that I have is writing excellent and after some use not at all ""scratchy". Changing the nib is not as hard as it may seem, there are some short videos on Youtube to help you!

I got a bunch of nibs, from the Extra Fine one to the 5mm. They are excellent. With the right paper, they leave beautiful strokes, and are genuinely a joy to write with.
Swapping them is a little messy, I can’t keep my fingers clean no matter how I do it. So I would not recommend switching nibs every so often. Just buy more pens and put them on there.
A great price for the Z50 nib! It provides a fine line, suitable for precise writing. I also have the cursive nib, some users find it slightly scratchy, and it may occasionally catch on paper fibers.
I'm quite happy with the nibs I got. I received them in next to no time, much less than was announced, which I very much apprecitated. Good job, thanks !
If you have a Lamy Safari, Vista, AL-Star, LX or Studio or any other Lamy pen that uses their universal nibs, you should have one of each. It just makes for a better writing experience. And it's easy to boot.
