Pelikan Pens proliferate unwittingly and there is no one who used it only once.
It was full of anticipation just by picture, it is much more splendid in reality.
The flow’s excellent, no restrictions needed when selecting ink. M1000 is flexy. The writing feeling is mainly soft rather than smooth. I love the feeling of writing with Pelikan M1000.
Beautiful pen. Fast shipping. The nib on my pen is a medium. It is very smooth,; a joy to use. The nib is large and beautiful. This is perhaps my favorite fountain pen. I would mention that though it is a medium nib, it writes more like a broad.
The nib of the Pelikan M1000 is fantastic. I chose the F and it writes more like a M nib in my opinion. It is very smooth and manageable. The pen itself is very nice and I love to write with this beautiful high-quality pen. I am really satisfied with my purchase. I look forward to every moment using this pen.
There are not many nibs that have surpassed my expectations, but the M1000 EF, tuned in house by Anabelle, has certainly done that. It's line is wet, surprisingly smooth, and manageable. I have a very light hand, but even so, my normal writing shows gorgeous, effortless line variation. I haven't gotten this interesting and organic esthetic from any other nib. As far as size and weight, if you like the way a M800's brass fittings anchor it in your hand, you'll love the M1000 which feels similar, with one BIG difference: the grip section is much longer, and I don't have as much contact with the threads. For me, this makes for a much more comfortable writing experience. I don't consider this truly oversized, but it's girth is much larger than a M800. The customer service from Appleboom separates them from other boutique retailers, but Anabelle's superlative tuning is glorious, and it takes these extraordinary instruments to the next level.

Ordered this pen and it was delivered less than a week later (weekend included, or it may have been delivered even faster. Opened it up and couldn’t be happier with the m1000. Big and bold but with a super soft nib that is almost calligraphy quality. Thank you very much.
I had to get my grail pen from Appelboom. I got mine with a fine nib and tuned by the team. This is definitely my wettest writer (more like a medium to a bold nib), but the size is comfortable and the nib definitely bounces. I love the feeling of writing with this pen and a great investment.
About two years ago, in the midst of the pandemic, I was struck by a desire to obtain a green-striped Pelikan M1000 (F). The pen was nowhere to be found. News of world-wide factory shutdowns and rumors of Pelikan internal problems did not look encouraging. In response to my e-mail inquiry, Joost Appelboom responded instantly with a promise to notify when the pen is back in stock. A few weeks ago, I received the promised e-mail and being aware of Pelikan past spotty quality record placed my order asking for a free “tune & smooth” service. Within only a few days my Pelikan landed on my doorsteps in New Jersey. Needless to say, the pen writes flawlessly with Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue I have tested it so far. Balanced flow and this special Pelikan nib softness make writing very pleasant and quite practical for daily use. The pen is objectively a large one but strangely feels less imposing than my MB 149.
I have numerous M60x and M80x pens, but this is the first "big boy" I've purchased. It's glorious. Because Ilike larger pens (I find the M600 to be right at my smallest limit), this feels wonderful in my hand, and it writes beautifully.
