Compared to pens I normally buy, this is a pen on the smaller scale. As an attorney, I was intrigued by the concept. The pen is “slightly reminiscent” of my Pelikan Renaissance Brown M1000 in color, definitely not size. To appreciate all the subtle color variations, I have found myself just staring at the pen and rotating it round and round in the light. It is a very conservative pen in appearance and size. Definitely not a flashy pen. Anyone would feel comfortable writing with it in a professional setting. For what I paid, I’m delighted with the purchase. It writes very smoothy. I had Appelboom do a nib tune at purchase. The clip feels a little demure in size and quality. I would not say that it is an attorney themed pen. It is a generally appropriate pen for all. Overall, at the price point paid, I am happy using it in my day to day writings while pursuing justice for my clients.

I had never heard of Sveva pens before, but I thought I would take a chance and add this Virtus model to my Italian pen collection, and I am so glad I did, it’s a great writing experience, I got mine in extra fine, and it’s a really great smooth writer, and the resin is a joy to look at. Very happy.
