This is not just a 'swatch log'... Gorgeous book for artsy ink play & archiving on high quality paper. Only downside I've found so far is that the book doesn't lie 'open-flat', which is a bit annoying, but nonetheless a marvelous addition for every ink lover.

Review Title: Great coloring book for fountain pens

I love the design and look of the book. Although I've only used a few pages it seems like it holds the ink pretty well, no feathering or bleed-through. I've been looking for ages to get a coloring book that behaves well with fountain pens and this is right up my alley. Not to mention it provides a very fun and creative method to document my inks.

This is a beautiful book and a fun way to catalogue your inks!

I love the size of this (it is smaller than an A5) and the idea overall. The paper is good quality and can certainly hold inks and a bit of water (I have spread some of the inks with a water pen in some of the illustrations).

The only hesitant note I would add about this is that the ink colors so not come out as striking as they do on Tomoe River or MD paper, but if you're not awfully focused on that sort of thing, then that shouldn't matter.

If you have a lot of inks I would recommend this. You'll never be able to use up all the inks you have, but this is a great way to enjoy them.
