I like the combination of translucent material with piston filler. Every time I see the movement of the internal piston and the flow of ink, it brings me a pleasant mood.

This is more of a review of the nib. This is my second Scribo. While I like the pen style, I am not a fan of the flex nib which I was not expecting to get. I thought I had ordered a normal fine with a tuning. This nib seems to cut into the paper (Rhodia) a little resulting in feathering. I have to be more careful with writing pressure when I use this pen so I don't pick this pen up frequently. I don't have to baby my 149's or M1000's this much. After this first fill, I'll probably clean the pen and admire it. It is a gorgeous pen to look at. Maybe I'll try an ink different than the Verde Bosco it is currently inked with. If you have used one of these flex nibs and like it, then the depth of green, and feel in the hand make this a very nice pen. However, the flex nib is not for me.
