Review Title: Perfection

The Jan Zander Design Alter Ego is the second pen I’ve acquired from this designer-craftsman. It may sound like an overstatement, but it is the finest pen I own — and I have a sizeable collection with some excellent pieces — and possibly the best I’ve ever written with. Perfectly balanced, it sits effortlessly in the hand (I chose the ebonite), and the 14K nib is beautifully juicy and expressive. I’m genuinely delighted with this investment.
