This is a big pen. Same length than a Leonardo MZG (almost) but a bit thicker. The nib is delicious with a very compliant ebonite feed. It is a bit bigger than a #8 Bock nib. The ink window is clever : there is not a "gap" in the barrel, It is a kind of striped and oblique ink window. The resin is gorgeous. According to the light, it evolves between a dark red to a magenta. My pen is well polished but it is not mirror glass like.
The Magneye is a very big pen ("oversize"), but rather light. It is comfortable in the hand. (unless you have small hands) and well built. There are no construction flaws. The design and the material (crimson acrylic with silver clip and rings) are elegant. An interesting feature is that, although there is no ink window, the ink inside the pan can be seen, below the cap, through the middle portion of the barrel of the pen .
