Fantastic translucent finished. Appeared different shade at different angle.
size, balance + weight
size and balance is perfect for me
wished a bit lighter for barrel
Nib
A lot to be desired at this price. My has slight baby's bottom and ink flow is not consistent.
Otherwise smooth and wet when it is good
Feed is the plastic feed from Jowo, wish that Otto Hutt and have other design or Ebonite ones

This is a very decent pen. Hefty, pretty, the size is perfect overall. The build quality is very solid.
The EF nib is on the finer side of European EFs which is great in my book.
The pen is a fingerprint magnet though, keep that in mind. Dust gets trapped in the body and cap grooves as well

I got the ALL black version, writes very smooth. in a Fine gold nib....its very wet and secrets tons of ink. A one fountain pen collection with this Otto Hutt...is not a bad idea.

I was enamored by the design and looks of this pen, and just wanted to get my hands on it at the earliest !
This is my first purchase on Appelboom. Although I have been seeing Joost's pen reviews online, my first interaction with his company was a very pleasant one! They delivered early, considering it was not in stock and that the had to order it.
The Pen itself ! -- Well, it is more than a pen, as connoisseurs will understand !
It is a great joy to hold and own it ! The balance, the streamlined design, the balance and the heft are outstanding !
I heartily recommend this pen to all - Otto Hutt should very well deservedly be right up there amongst the star pen manufacturers of the world!!

Don't think about it ! Just buy this !!

Otto Hutt is a brand that I did not know until I saw several videos abut their products that caught my attention. So I decided to buy it despite its price.
It is a forceful and weighty fountain pen, and at the same time, elegant and comfortable.
The use of lacquer to cover the body gives it warmth and dulls the metal.
Finally, the nib provides smooth writing and the medium point is wider than other pens I own.
Great purchase.

Otto Hutt, one of the great European pen makers, has created a masterpiece with the 07.

The elegant design is consistent across the entire pen. The clip is clean, and really effective at its job.

Some pens that are all metal, struggle with balance and a slippery section. Otto Hutt has avoided both problems with this pen.

I own both this, and the 06, and enjoy both immensely.
