I got my first good fountain pen from Appelboom last year. Not inly was it my first expensive, for me, pen but it was a foreign purchase as I live in Canada. The buying experience was very good. I had to wait awhile to receive my pen but it was worth it. The pen is gorgeous and my favourite colour. It is a pleasure to use and whenever I pick it up it writes the first time. I will definitely look to Appelboom for future purchases of finer fountain pens.

I am a fan of all my Momento Zero pens. The new JoWo nib is really nice and reliable. It makes for a great writing experience. The colour is great, too!

A lovely Leonardo Pen

This pen is a lovely orange mango with lots of things happening in the material. The shape is really comfortable and the entire pen feels sturdy and well made. It strikes a balance between form and functionality that makes it a lot of pen for the money. This version with the muted blackened nib and trims helps to make it both classic and a bit eye-catchy to me.
The nib is great and the flow is well adjusted for this pen. The Momento Zero has developed to a very good formula.
Nitpicking details is that the swirls won't match between cap and body - but that is not that common to have. I still find this pen to hit a 5 out of 5 - it does everything the pen is expected to do, and does it really well.
