The Namiki Yukari Royale was my grail pen and it has exceeded every expectation that I had for it. Riding with this pen is smooth and effortless, and the lines it produces are perfect.
The service from Appelboom was top-notch. Their communication was great, they shipped the item quickly, and the tracking information was spot on. I could not be happier and even though I am located in the United States,I am planning on making all of my future fountain pen purchases from Appelboom.
Ordered this pen in a double broad nib and I loved it, writes so smooth. Also love the attention from Appelboom. Definitely will buy more pens from this store in the future and will visit the store on my next vacation to Netherlands.
I have had my eye on this beautiful masterpiece for two years and finally pulled the trigger. It was worth the wait. The vibrant Vermillion color, the balance, the smooth nib all make for an exceptional writing experience. Joost is amazing. The Namiki Yukari Royale has been out of stock at many fountain pen vendors. I emailed Joost and he alerted me in 2 days that he had received a shipment and reserved a pen for me. Appelboom's customer service is unparalleled. Thank you!
It's an amazing pen! It's a bit too thin for an F for me, but still writes wonderfully! It was also dispatched and received to Dubai in only 2 days which is amazing by Appelboom team.
Quite simply perfect. The weight and balance of this pen are superb, the Urushi lacquer is beautiful and the nib is wonderful. This pen is a dream to write with and a wonder to hold in your hand. Highly, highly recommended.
An ideal amongst pens - perfect weight and feel, fine nib is brilliant for day to day use. Writing has adapted to its feel. Hard to top this pen, like the simple luxurious feel
I chose this pen after looking and trying several other classic pens. the brass weight, the vermillion Urushi combine to make this pen a great handling writer. The nib is super smooth and slightly soft. Well tuned and smoothed by Appelboom. Thank you for this incredible pen Joost and the team there in Laren,
