Pretty and Comfortable

I got attracted to this pen because of the nice pinks that they were able in incorporate on the marbling. It got even better as it writes very nicely, not picky with inks and the flow is quite good. And is a good comfortable writer that you can do long entries without a hand cramp.

My second Visconti

I had a not so pleasant experience with Visconti pens before. I was reluctant to buy another Visconti. But knowing I could have the pen tuned by Appelboom was the only reason that I ordered the pen. Wow. Not only is the pen a beauty but it's incredibly smooth. It has become my favorite pen. Thank you so much.

Prefer the Old Version

I owned this pen before and I was very much fond of it. Unfortunately, when I purchased this pen again this time, it's kind of disappointing for two reasons: 1) the original intricate floral design of the nib is displaced by a simpler and dull pattern, which I personally am not opt to. 2) there is no pink mauve ink along with the pen in the box any more; the box is also smaller and less delicate compared to the old version. I wish Visconti can resume the old version.

Visconti Vincent Van Gogh Mauves fountain pen Broad nib

Initially I was not taken in with the Mauves model as I thought it bland. But I did order it in Broad nib and the pen writes beautifully with the enclosed 30 ml special Mauves ink. I have several Van Gogh pens and each time I write with one of them I feel I am holding a piece of Van Gogh’s paintings!
