Love the weight and feel of a metal pen. The medium nib is a little towards the fine side, very smooth, not too wet. This pen will be getting a lot of use.

The Duofold Prestige Centennial is an impressive writing instrument, The pen has impressive heft without feeling heavy or unwieldy to use. The weight imparts a feeling of quality that I appreciate. I wondered if the size of the pen might seem too large when ordering it, but it is a nice size in reality for my medium-to-large size hands.

The writing performance of the pen is quite good. Ink flows smoothly and creates strokes of a nice width. I went with the fine nib and feel the stroke width is somewhere between fine and medium compared to other pen nibs I've used, which is the sweet spot for me.

The pictures of the pen do not do the blue color complete justice. The pictures suggest the blue color tends towards a dark navy, when in reality, the color is more royal blue. I prefer royal blue over dark navy, so I was pleased with the color.

In sum, I would recommend this pen if you have the budget to splurge on a refined writing instrument.
