I love the feeling of a great gold nib for its expressive fluidity. There are times though when I need to focus my thoughts. The Pelikan steel nibs are remarkably precise in their line while retaining a smooth writing experience. For me, these steel nibs are just the thing to change out the nibs on my Pelikan 200, 205, 215, 400, 600 pens when I need to change it up a bit. They offer a consistent line when I need clarity over lyricism. Thankfully the world is big enough for both. Thank you Appelboom for your consistent service and quality.

Review Title: Excellent Replacement Nib

The nib wrote perfectly right out of the packaging. The tines were well-aligned and polished to give good ink flow and a smooth writing experience with just the right amount of feedback for my taste. I've been using it in my everyday pen for several weeks. Have experienced absolutely no skipping or false starts. The price was fair too. Great steel nib!

I purchased this nib (in Broad) as an inexpensive way to diversify my options with the M205, which came with a Fine. The Broad is very smooth, with only a modest amount of feedback. It writes well, even on less-than-excellent paper. I'm delighted with the purchase. And it's always a pleasure to deal with Appelboom.
