Fog Grey, a "little bluish"

  • Review Add on: 19-06-2024

I bought the Fog Gray ink, because I was looking for a ink that was a little different but at the same time was "office friendly" and I chose this because in the photos it gave the impression of being a bluish gray.
I don't know if it's the paper I use (Midori A5 and Leuchtturm1917 A5), but the ink feels bluer than I expected.
Despite this color variation, it is an excellent ink, very moist, even using fine nibs, and I would buy it again.

Lovely deep colour

DeAtramentis Midnight Blue is dark blue leaning towards teal. It’s a lovely rich deep colour. Flows well from the pen. I can see myself writing quite a lot with this.

De Atramentis Ink - Olive Green

  • Review Add on: 05-07-2022

I recently bought a pen from Karas in battleworn olive green, and I felt the need for an olive green ink to march this pen. After gathering info, I went for this ink, de Atramentis Olive Green. This ink is very beautiful and has a lot of shading, but it was a bit too light in color to match the pen, so I went for Robert Oster Motor Oil, and found that to be a better match. It's not easy to find deep rich saturated olive green inks though. Apart from that I am very pleased with inks from de Atramentis. It is solid and reliable brand with inks of high quality. That is my impression. And I like their bottles very much..

Like other De Atramentis inks this one is also wet writer. Be careful using it on bad quality absorbent paper, it will bleedthrough. De Atramentis brand is in my experience on the wet side in comparison to some other brands. Beside that, it is great ink, beautifull colour and value. It came with characteristic glass bottle and a cardboard box. Pine green is dark, saturated olive green ink, very similar to Edelstein Olivine in colour. Recomended highly!

Indigo Blue

My first de Atramentis ink. I was waiting for it for a long time. Many would describe it as blue-black. I would say dark blue. It is realy good copy of indigo paper color. Too early for more comments, I've used it just for one week.
