Top pen, ondanks zijn gewicht, is deze pen goed in balans en voelt prettig met wat langer schrijven zonder kramp. Juist voor links handige schrijvers als ik is dat het grootste pluspunt.
To me, this is the most beautiful version of the Kaweco Sport. It is a lot heavier than the plastic and aluminum (AL) versions of the pen (it’s almost too heavy for me, but I use it without posting.) Yet, this extra weight makes the pen feel incredibly solid, which is very pleasing—and surprising, given its small size. Most importantly, brass develops patina over time, which allows the pen to “age” and show the unique traces of your handling (sure, you can always polish it to make it look like new again, but why would you?) Keep in mind that brass has a distinctive smell that you might get in your fingers when using this pen (I personally don’t mind it at all.)
The Kaweco Brass Sport fountain pen is just as good looking in person as it appears on this site. And it's got some great heft to it. Kaweco is known for their high quality writing instruments, but the weight of this pen enhances that even further. And it should get better and better with age. Great pen.

Pen ligt heel fijn in de hand, fijn van gewicht en ziet er gewoon erg mooi en stoer uit.
Getwijfeld om ook de clip aan te schaffen maar zo gaat het ook prima en hij zit stevig in de loopholder van mijn traveller's journal....kortom blij!!
The sports line from Kaweco come in many materials, but I think brass is my favourite. It gives this small pocket pen a good weight, and it collects a beautiful patina over time and use.
The design is such that, even that it is a small pen, when posted it becomes a good size for writing, which makes it portable yet comfortable to use.
The main downside of this pen is that the converter for it is not practical, and since it is made of metal, it is not possible to eye drop it, limiting you to cartridges. It takes small international cartridges, which is a plus. (What I do: I use a syringe to fill an empty cartridge with bottled ink, reducing environmental waste and expanding my options).
The pen does not come with a clip, but I highly recommend. The clip is not expensive, but it is practical and makes the pen look even cooler.
Nice and handful pocket pen, just the right balance with the cap on.

This is a fantastic fountain pen! Love the design, size, feel in the hand and the cost is quite reasonable for the quality. The service from Appelboom was just superb, I have to say....faster service and better selection than I can get locally in the United States.
