One of the major attractions towards their pens is their size. The fact that their ink well is massive is also a great feature. I don’t write as much, but just knowing I won’t be worried about refilling is actually something I take for granted in other pens.
I have several Opus 88s and on the whole they’re brilliant for the price point. However some may require some silicone grease on the threads to get rid of the squeaking noises it produces when your turn said threads. I do wish they included a small batch though.
Excelente pluma. Es ligera de peso pero de tamaño considerable. Una vez rellenada con el cuentagotas no hay que volver a preocuparse en mucho tiempo y al ser transparente siempre sabes el nivel de tinta que tiene.

I love this pen. It is a great writer, well made, comfortable, and beautiful, especially when I see all that ink sloshing around when I write. I ordered it with the 1.5mm stub, which performs flawlessly. This is my first eye-dropper and I like its practicality. Beside the huge ink capacity, it is easy to clean and switch inks. The shutoff valve is also a great feature, preventing any burping of ink and helping to regulate flow. I am very happy to have this pen in my daily rotation and grateful for the excellent transaction with Appelboom. The overall design of the pen goes far beyond its price. The only trade-off is that the flex EF nib is quite firm and needs more pressure in order to get the line variation. I'm comparing it to Pilot 823 FA, as it is my reference for flex nib. Other than that, it is a highly flexible pen using standard Jowo No. 6 nib.

Opus 88 Omar is built very solidly. This won't crack if you drop it accidentally unlike some other demo pens. Ink capacity is generous at around 3 ml and shut off valve makes controlling ink flow to the feed very convenient. Pen has got good girth and heft and is a pleasure to use. Ink sloshing inside the barrel looks wonderful. Appelboom as usual offers this at good price with fast delivery.
A thoroughly enjoyable transaction, priced competitively, good personalised communication with prompt free postage, making Appelboom the ideal destination to purchase luxury pens. The pen has a very good build quality, can accommodate a wide range of nibs and is a must have for any collection!
