Lamy Safari All Black Ncode Smartpen for Digital Writing

The new Lamy Safari All Black Ncode bridges the gap between the analogue notebook and the unlimited world of digital writing. In cooperation with Korean tech company NeoLAB Convergence Lamy launches an optoelectronic writing system.

The Lamy Safari All Black Ncode is a ‘smartpen’: while you write on paper, the pen simultaneously digitises your handwritten material and stores it on your phone or tablet. With the special app you can share or edit your writings and drawings as you choose. Imagine writing your notes with the super comfortable Lamy Safari All Black Rollerball with its proven ergonomic grip for fatigue-free writing, then converting them to digital text and sharing them with your network - with just a few taps on your screen!

For the Lamy Safari All Black Ncode, Lamy teamed up with Korean creator NeoLAB, creator of the ncode technology that lets pen, paper and app communicate to digitize your writings. The pen works in combination with the Lamy Digital Paper Notebook (sold separately). The optoelectronic sensor in the pen reads the Ncode pattern printed on the paper of the notebook and recognises handwriting and pages. So while you write on the paper, the pen automatically transfers your handwritten text to your mobile device. The Neo Studio app has numerous functions, such as changing the text colour or line thickness. Because the paper is also equipped with ncode technology, the digital text will get the same page number as the notebook, for easy retrieval.

The Lamy Safari All Black Ncode Smartpen uses LAMY M 21 ballpoint refills in blue or black. It charges with a micro USB cable (included).
