The LAMY digital paper A5 notebook (145 x 210 mm) contains 192 pages of 80-gram bleed-proof acid-free paper with thread-sewn binding, ivory-coloured with pale grey dot ruling. With 8 detachable pages, 2 fabric bookmark ribbons, a pocket on the inside back cover for storing notes, business cards or similar small items, the elastic band to hold it together and the keeper for the Lamy Safari All Black Ncode Smartpen (sold separately), the Lamy Ncode Notebook offers all the comfort features of a notebook that's a constant companion.
The optoelectronic sensor of the Lamy Safari All Black Ncode reads the Ncode pattern printed on the paper of the LAMY digital paper notebook and recognises handwriting and pages. Each page contains a tiny pattern - barely visible to the naked eye. These codes hold information unique to each page, including pen position. The NeoLAB ncode sensor reads the codes from the blank surface - the processor (CPU) contained in the pen performs the complex mathematical calculation to locate the pen position on the page.
While you write on paper, the pen simultaneously digitises your handwritten material and stores it on your phone or tablet. With the special app you can share or edit your writings and drawings as you choose. Imagine writing your notes with the super comfortable Lamy Safari All Black Rollerball with its proven ergonomic grip for fatigue-free writing, then converting them to digital text and sharing them with your network - with just a few taps on your screen!
