Review Title: A Blue Urushi Wonder

Pilot has another home run on their hands. Pilot has created an Usushi fountain pen masterpiece in a shade of indigo blue that draws your attention and holds it. I could sit and stare at this beauty for hours, but it is in writing with this pen that you appreciate how close Pilot has come to creating a perfect writing experience. I chose the Medium Fine nib and was really impressed with its thin line width and how smoothly it rolled across the page. Normally when I get a new pen I do a short writing sample of a couple of sentences but with this pen I was happily writing a half page later as my Pilot Custom Urushi in Blue felt like an old friend. Well done Pilot and many thanks to Appelboom for delivering this wonder to me so soon after it’s release.
