Taccia Mizu-ki Maki-e Urushi Natsu-momiji Fountain pen

The Taccia Mizu-ki Maki-e Urushi fountain pen is a lacquer fountain pen that expresses beautiful seasonal plants with maki-e. Cherry blossoms in spring, Autumn leaves in summer, Wild grapes in autumn, and cold peony in winter are expressed in maki-e. The plants of the four seasons are depicted in a fresh and delicate manner by the maki-e artist Ms. Kitani. Please enjoy the beauty of its vitality in every corner.

About the artist: Kitani Yoko

Born in Tottori Prefecture. Studied under Nobuo Kitani. As a maki-e artist, she creates works that incorporate a modern sense of aesthetics while making use of traditional techniques.She has been selected for many exhibitions such as the Japanese Exhibition, and has also served asthe judge.While building on the traditional techniques of Wajima painting, it pursues its own aesthetics and creativity.

Each pattern is limited to 50 pieces with the craftsman's signature and serial number. The craftsman's handwritten signature and serial number are written on the end of the shaft.The Taccia Mizu-ki Maki-e Urushi fountain pen uses an 18k large gold nib, made in Japan by Sailor - exclusively for Taccia - and has a cartridge/converter filling mechanism. The gift box is made of paulownia wood, which gives it a luxurious feel.
