The latest addition of the Scribo Piuma Fountain pen collection are inspired by some tropical birds.

Aras, with their flamboyant plumage and lively personalities, are among the most iconic parrots in the world. Native to the tropical regions of Central and South America, these fascinating birds embody the exotic beauty and lush biodiversity of their natural habitats and are considered as radiant jewels of the Tropics.

The most distinctive feature of Aras is undoubtedly their plumage. Each species sports a unique combination of vibrant colors, ranging from fiery red to sunny yellow, cobalt blue to emerald green. Beyond their beauty and allure, Aras play a crucial ecological role, maintaining the delicate balance of tropical ecosystems. Spotting an Ara in its natural environment is an unforgettable experience, a reminder of the fragile beauty and precious biodiversity our planet harbors.

The two new fountain pens of the Scribo Piuma fountain pen collection are inspired by the bright colors of the plumage of these tropical birds and are a genuine rainbow of colors, fixed by hand with brush and airbrush. Finally, the color layering is protected by a special anti-UV lacquer to protect its luminosity over time.

The Scribo Piuma Ara fountain pen is made in blue resin and it is hand-painted with green, red, orange, yellow and light blue colors

The Scribo Piuma Tropico fountain pen is made in yellow resin and it is hand-painted with green, red, orange, blue and light blue colors

The Scribo Piuma collection is fitted with an 18kt gold nib or a 14kt flex nib and uses a cartridge or converter. 

Only 90 pens of each colour will be made. 

This pen is accompanied by a genuine leather and cotton handmade soft pouch to protect two writing instruments. In the side pocket there is a cloth to keep your fountain pens clean. A precious and modern packaging to always carry your favourite writing instruments with you.
