Scribo Piuma Ametista GT Fountain pen

Scribo’s new Piuma colours Agata, Corniola and Ametista (agate, carnelian and amethyst) are inspired by the three gemstones of the same name and are made with a resin that reproduces the effect of the stone.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz, characterized by the presence of purplish hues. It often forms in the presence of subalkaline basaltic rocks. Known to man since 3.000 BC, this crystal was mined and revered in Egypt, South Africa and Mesopotamia. The name amethyst comes from the Greek améthystos which means "not drunk", the etymology at the basis of one of the most fascinating myths in history. Scribo’s Piuma Ametista, with its golden finishes, is inspired by one of the most long-lived and precious stones, a symbol of the elixir of life.

The Piuma collection is fitted with an 18kt gold nib or a 14kt flex nib and uses a cartridge or converter. 

Only 219 pens of each colour will be made. 

This pen is accompanied by a genuine leather and cotton handmade soft pouch to protect two writing instruments. In the side pocket there is a cloth to keep your fountain pens clean. A precious and modern packaging to always carry your favourite writing instruments with you.

Scribo is a young Italian brand with a long history behind. The Scribo project started on the same day the glorious history of Omas, a historic Bolognese company that has become a cult in the world of fountain pens’ collectors, ended.
