The Sailor Pro Gear (or Professional Gear) fountain pen offers an effortless writing experience with a classic flat top cap design. The iconic fountain pen of Sailor features a resin barrel and cap, complemented by silver colored metal details. The cap screws to open/close and can push to post onto the back of the barrel when writing. The large sized Sailor fountain pen is handcrafted from high quality resin. The flat top cap features the Sailor anchor logo inset into the top finial.

The Sailor Pro Gear fountain pen uses a 14k gold nib and has a proprietary cartridge/converter filling mechanism.

Sailor pens was established in 1911 in Japan, becoming the first to produce fountain pens in their home country. They have subsequently built a first-class reputation in the manufacture of the highest quality nibs, with all parts made in their own factory in Hiroshima.
