Reborn in 2020, Radius has once again started producing the iconic Superior model from 1936. The pen will be available in 5 different colours dedicated to Cinque Terre (Five Lands) National Park, a coastal area in the north west of Italy which is part of the UNESCO world heritage. The colours are named after 5 villages in the area.
The pens are available in a limited edition of 250 for each colour and will have the year 2021 on the section.
The Radius Superior is a piston filled pen with a 14kt gold Jowo nib, available in EF, F, M, B and Stub.
The Radius brand of fountain pens has its roots in 1934. The initial production was divided into two lines: the Superior for the more valuable high-end pens and the Extra for pens sold at lower prices. In the 1950's the brand ceased to exist, due to a lesser demand in fountain pens. The brand was relaunched in 2020.
