I'm a fan of large pens so this was a no brainer and the fact that it's a legendary pen & colour combination helps too.

I'm a fan of fine-extra fine nibs so when I saw that Appelboom had an extra fine on offer I was convinced it was the right thing to buy this one.

The nib imprint is fantastic and the size of it is amazing.

All in all I'd say that if you want a pen that writes well is a feast for the eyes and comes in multiple widths then give this one a go. You'll not be disappointed.

I am very satisfied with the purchase. The pen is an outstanding masterpiece and a highlight in my collection. It was one of the cheapest in Europe at Appleboom and therefore I bought it here. It will not be my last one. Thanks!

Now here’s a piece of craftsmanship that confuses me. The tribute to one of Delta’s icons is a wonderful fountain pen that has everything it takes to claim a position among toppers. The #8 Nib is a truly beautiful piece of art. And yet I don’t know where to put it. The perfectly crafted pen asks for intensive use yet its oversized shape would make me store it with other Statement pens, used to be part of power play that demands little more than getting a few words and a signature on paper. In that category however the beautiful design seems almost too modest.
Therefore I’ll give it a shot as a writer’s pen and find out when it’s becoming too uncomfortable
