Dollar for dollar, this pen combines beautiful design, lovely writing experience, and value as well as any fountain pen on the market. (And my collection includes Montegrappa, Visconti, David Oscarson, and Urdu pens, among others.) This pen is sleek without being skinny, comfortable in the hand, and a delight for the eyes, and smooth in writing, all for a fraction of what you would expect to pay. This will be a go-to pen of mine for years to come.

Awesome adition to my collection.
Craftmenship is premium, a bit on a bulky side in the hand though. Nib is smooth thnx to appelboom nib customisation.

It's a very beautiful pen, and since the Chinese zodiac sign for 2025 (in Japan as well) is the snake, it's really cool that it has a snake on the pen clip.

Stunning!
I have to take a moment to acknowledge Appelboom's brilliant customer service! They are easy to contact and get back to you very quickly. I had this pen engraved and the nib tuned. Both of these services were carried out flawlessly.
This is my first Nahvalur pen, but the quality is beautiful. This pen feels very nice in the hand--not too heavy, nor too light. The nib is very smooth but doesn't glide away from you as you write, which I appreciate. Most of my pens are Japanese and this F nib writes a lot broader than my Pilot Custom 823s, Sailors, and my Platinum, but I rather like having this nib size in my collection for the variety.
I adore the carrying capacity of this pen and the unique ink window! If Nahvalur comes out with another design as beautiful as this one I would certainly consider buying another Nautilus.

I love this pen! It writes like a dream (I had it tuned, but still - it’s more smooth than I expected).

It’s not my most expensive pen but I must say I currently prefer it above my Waterman Carène. Both F nibs, though it can’t compete with my MB baby, up till now no nib can, thank heavens.

It’s my first Piston. I filled it with Pelikan Garnet, my snake is poisonous.
The looks of the pen are - for me - quite exuberant, but I couldn’t resist it.

The snake clip is very nice, though I hope it will prove to be firm and durable (4 stars).

It fits my hands very well. We’re going to have a lot of fun, I’m sure.
