Review Title: I love my Metis

While not inexpensive, the Metis is far below an Italian luxury level price tag and relatively speaking it’s a bargain!
Mine has a no. 6 steel medium nib which is simple but attractive. It’s not gold, and has only a touch of line variation, but there’s enough not to be called a “nail”. Wet, and quite smooth, with just the slightest feedback when writing on LIFE N69 paper at the moment. A very enjoyable writing experience. I don’t have a guide to judge the line width, but I’d guess that the line leans more towards broad than strictly medium or narrowing towards a fine. In terms of looks and build, the pen is aces. The pen has substance in the hand, and feels well constructed and tight, including the piston knob. The threading is resin on resin, and threads can barely be felt if one holds the section a bit up the barrel like me. The color and chatoyance are rich and spectacular but not garishly loud. I love looking at, and writing with. A great gateway into the world of Italian pens
