This is very unique pen. It’s quite big but has very good design and weight. It writes super smooth and I am left handed and I love it. I will buy more from Opus 88 in the future.

I like the Omar pen because I enjoy its beautiful material, and I enjoy looking at it and I enjoy writing with it. This time I chose a 1.5 stub nib and it writes beautifully.

Big pen, huge capacity

The Opus 88 Omar is the heftiest pen I own. Holds an astounding amount of ink and offers a Japanese-style eyedropper shutoff system for much cheaper than you will find in most equivalent pens.

Despite its size, the girth and curvature of the pen actually makes it quite ergonomic, but your mileage (and hand size!) may vary.

Beautiful design on the cap. I only wish the whole pen carried the same aesthetic as it is almost impossible to cap this pen securely or comfortably and looks quite boring in the hand without its cap.
