One of the most beautiful shimmer ink i've seen

As a french person, I've known J. Herbin for a long time but this aniversary editions of shimmer ink are some of the best I have ever used. The purple in Améthyste de l'Oural is beautifully made,
It has a really nice shading and the glitter is so thin that it spread very nicely with the ink flow and does not clog the feed. Depending on the paper you use, you get a different feel every time. I used it with a BB nib and it does not feather nor does it takes too long to dry.

This is a beautiful ink. The bottle initially sent arrived cracked and had to be discarded. Appelbaum sent me a fresh bottle by FedEx which was most appreciated. Great service!

If you like the now gone Lamy Dark Lilac colour, this is basically the same shade but with glitter! And who doesn't like glitter? I love it!

Very exquisite color, which varies from pale lilac to rich dark purple dependings on nib.
Not very good for business letters, because of sparkles, but you have to not forget to shake the jar, or there will be not sparkles =)
