This is a great pen. For me, it writes best when capped. The nib is exceptional. I ordered mine from Appelboom with the special factory flex fine nib and I cant recommend this nib grind and tuning enough. It’s just perfect. The cap add a nice touch of elegance. It’s a bit shinny now and I can’t wait to see a nice patina develop on the silver as I really like that look. Super highly recommend anything by Aurora especially their in house nib grinds and tuning. Takes a while to get these special factory grinds, but it’s certainly worth the wait.

I bought this pen with absolute confidence. It came at a very good price, packaged beautifully and arrived quickly from overseas to me. Very good communication made the buying experience excellent. This is the perfect holder for the beautiful goccia nib: a nib that simply does everything. The balance is very comfortble unposted. Aurora makes my favorite grip. Ink flow is generous. The look on a desk or in a pocket is exactly what a person drawn to this style would want. The proportions are right. If you would like sterling, but don't want the weight of a solid sterling, this is the answer.

It was my first Italian pen and I was a bit worrying. Would the italian engineering keep up with the design? But if someone is doing it for a century should be an expert. So are guys in Torino. Aurora 88 black with silver cap is elegantly fancy pen. There's nothing too much, but plenty enough of noble elements. The 925 silver cap is not plated, so it tarnish beautifully. The iconic clip with a ball is a touch of calm joy. Large, bright ink window, 2ml ink, long comfortable section. huge ebonite feeder and nib, that writes like a dream - there's all you need to love this pen.

A masterpiece Italian piece of art that gives lot of writing pleasure. Aurora is one of the few companies left that make their own nib. It is a must add to your collection. The nib of the pen is ultra smooth and offers seamless writing experience. The pen is made of premium material and looks great.
