Nice pen, huge ink capacity.

This is a nice demonstrator pen. The nib (medium) is ok, nicely wet. The pen appearance is a matter of taste. I like the feel of it uncapped, despite the step between the section and the barrel. It loads a lot of ink in a single operation of the vac system. Just be careful not to do it in a small bottle that is full. I did that and by accident it ended up in a mess. Not the pen’s fault, though. The second time it went better! :)

TWSBI VAC 700R CLEAR

A very satisfying pen to use and it holds a considerable amount of ink if you fill it close to 100% and, since it is a demonstrator, running out of ink is close to impossible without your knowledge. The "no-mess" filling system is fast and fun to use. Shopping from Appelboom was easy, shipping was fast and the delivery via DHL was smooth. Both pen and vendor are highly recommended and I will not hesitate to buy from Appelboom again.

Pen is excellent. Service by Mr.Appelboom was great. When there was an issue with customs in my country, he helped out with timely response. Coming to the pen, it is the perfect daily use pen, correct size, lot of ink whose level is visible. Especially useful for prolonged writing sessions.

TWSBI Vac 700R

A fantastic fountain pen. I am primarily comparing this TWSBI Vac 700 with its other counterpart being TWSBI Go, TWSBI Eco and TWSBI Classic Black.
I can swap the nibs between TWSBI Go, TWSBI Eco and TWSBI Classic Black - but the nib of TWSBI Vac 700 is bigger.
The F nib on the TWSBI Go and the M nib on TWSBI Classic have some feedback and there are times that I have faced certain issues with the 1.1 m stub as well with the TWSBI Eco. But with the TWSBI Vac 700 - with M nib - it wrote great with a little bit of feedback - something and an amount that I like. If you dont open the rear valve, there are times that the pen went dry and started to write smoothly again if the rear valve was opened.
Also, it holds a very good quantity of ink. A good writing instrument for long writing sessions ..
The cap does post but makes the pen very long but still the pen was stable and not back weighed even while posted.

Great Vacuum-Filling Pen

I bought the TWSBI Vac 700R after trying out both the Twisbi ECO and Twisbi 580 ALR.

The vacuum filling mechanism is what attracted me to buy the pen. It a very fun and interesting filling experience. The pen holds a lot of ink, and the stopper is great for flights without having to worry about ink leaking out.

The Vac 700 uses the #6 size nib, so it is one of the bigger nibs of the Twisbi range. I bought an EF which wrote smoothly, with very slight amount of feedback common on all Twisbi. The pen comes with a maintenance kit to dismantle & service your pen, and from what I know these tools can also be used to open up Pelikan piston filling mechanisms.

My first "expensive" pen

The TWSBI Vac 700R was my first fountain pen at more than entry level, and I have not been disappointed. It holds a lot of ink and the stopper that keeps it from burping ink is great for a large demonstrator like this. I have an EF and a 1.1 stub that I swap out periodically, so I have two pens for the price of one (and a little more)! The nibs are both very smooth with just a tiny bit of feedback. The cap on mine doesn't post, but the pen is long enough where it doesn't require posting. It looks great and works great!

Excellent pen
