Net zoals de Zxx schrijft ook de Zyy penpunt maar door de laser engraving nét iets soepeler.
Daarenboven kan je de Lamy Zxx/yy penpunten makkelijk uitwisselen in alle beschikbare breedtes en uitvoeringen op vele Lamy vulpennen.

Better than the ordinary Safari Nib

I bought an Z52 nib in EF, and it writes very smooth and fine.

I had a Safari Charcoal Black with a fine nib which wrote a bit too thick for me, slightly thicker than what I'd normally expect for an European fine nib. Then I replaced that with this nib and it now writes just as fine as a proper EF nib that I would expect.

What I didn't expect however, is its smoothness. It's not as smooth as something like Pelikan or Aurora's gold nib, but it is clearly smoother than my original fine nib. I am not sure whether it's supposed to be smoother or I was just lucky to get smoother one, but either way I am very satisfied with it.

Above all it looks much better than the original Safari nib in terms of design, and it is not an expensive nib at all.

I recovered my Lamy's Safary

I bought this nib to replace the original ones that came with Safary. Of the five pens I have bought so far, only one nib worked well the others scratched the paper (various types of paper) in a pen using yellow ink, it was a nightmare.
I bought an M and another B (for yellow), they work well, the line doesn't look very different from M for B but they are smooth in writing although I use them to draw. Liked it.
The transport took 23 hours to reach my hands in Portugal. Supersonic!
