Review Title: Gorgeous inks

I purchased this time two De Atramentis inks. I already have used one shimmering ink for calligraphy, These are hand made in Germany and comes in dark crystal bottles. The one dedicated to Johann Sebastian Bach, one the greatest composers ever, who belong to the baroque period in music, but is studied and worshiped for everyone. The ink color is Ebony, as stated in the label, and it has a picture of the composer. After the ink is dry it has a purplish color. Written with a crystal dip pen the color is darker brown, whereas written with a Pelikan EF Nib is lighter and more purple.

It dries fast especially with narrower nibs. It does not have color sheens. Overall color is exquisite and flows perfectly in both fountain and dip pens.

The black is a deep somewhat shiny. Simply beautiful. I strongly recommend this ink.
