My first Twsbi. Bought with a medium nib.
From the first time it writes very softly and adequately wet.
I slightly sanded the nib for a more calligraphic line at my taste and it is very pleasant to write with. It is the clear version, so it takes the ink color (the colored versions also allow to see the ink color).
Being fully disassemblable allows for a complete cleaning whenever needed (supplied with a tool and grease).
Not expensive for the overall quality and beauty.
Excellent pen for sketching and note-taking. Size big enough for large hands. Ergonomic hold, comfortable for long sessions. Large ink capacity. Good steel nib, pleasant out of the box. Demonstrator, so easy to check how much ink is left. Value is high. Overall, an excellent pen for sketching in the field and as EDC.
Although not the most beautiful pen in the world, it is definitely a great bargain for this good quality. Good nib, smooth, and a huge amount of ink capacity. A great every day use pen!
After seeing the twsbi all over the internet when I first fell into the fountain pen rabbit hole about a year ago, I knew I had hopelessly fallen in love with the demonstrator look. Immediately upon arrival I knew this pen would bring me joy for a lot of writing sessions to come; from the beautiful packaging to the feeling of the pen in my hand, it is gorgeous. As the words stream effortlessly from my hand, the slightly cool body of the pen rests against the fingers. The ink sloshes in the barrel, an infinitely fascinating sight. As the light reflects against the shape of the pen, I am lost in its beauty, simplicity, yet it is so intricate. I could write pages and pages about the joy my TWSBI eco clear brings me, but everything has been said already. All that is left now is to experience this pen yourself. (Wouldn't it be wonderful if one would be able to submit handwritten reviews...?)
I was on the lookout for an affordable pen with a large ink capacity that I can use for my daily note taking. I then stumbled upon the TWSBI Eco, which I immediately bought upon seeing how highly recommended this was by the FP community. And I love it! The M nib writes smooth out of the box, and I only need to refill the ink once every two weeks! I highly recommend this pen for those looking for a reliable, bang for the buck, entry level fountain pen.
This pen is a must have for everyone who wants an everyday high quality piece : I have it in EF and it writes without any indecision even if left apart for days. Smooth and clean with a modern but alltimer style.
