The M800 Cream Blue is a pen with a rare aesthetic. The contrast between the colors is one of its strengths. Unfortunately, Pelikan has now decided to change the logo to laser engraving: with the old gold-on-black symbol, it would be a masterpiece. The M800 writes smoothly, even if the nib is a little stiff for being gold, but perhaps my fault is to compare it with the M1000 —no other pen in the Souverän series matches the nib, smoothness, and writing quality of the M1000. The grip of the M800 is well-suited to small or medium-sized hands. The M800 Cream Blue has kept the window through which you can see the ink level. Keep in mind that a Pelikan EF is equivalent to a normal (generous) F, so if you want an F, be aware that you will have a nib similar to an M.
All in all, it offers excellent value for the money. Added to this is the excellent service offered by Appelboom—I am always in awe when I see how perfectly you package the pens! The perfect gift (for yourself or someone dear)!

Once again Pelikan has produced a beautiful, functional pen.
The blue is almost a colbalt blue and the cream color adds a warm touch to the pen. My nib (medium) was smooth and a pleasure to write with. Overall, just a beautiful pen.

Oh! What a beautiful pen this is !
Really elegant. When I say the picture, I said this is not for me but when I hold this pen I love so much that I bought two of them in different nib size.
The blue is so deep but not boring, you will love it. The ink window addition is highly a great point for moving ahead with this pen.
Tunning done by APPELBOOM is outstanding.
And above all my friend Joost responses to the reply is really like you are just to the next door.
Delivery , so fast ! Even if I order something in my country it will take time by delivery more than what it takes by APPELBOOM . Respect for the great job being done by Joost and APPELBOOM.

Recently inked up. I asked to have the pen tuned before shipping so it was in great shape when received. Lives up to my other Pelikans; pleasant in the hand and writes well, Thanks again to Appelboom, great service as usual!

Pelikan's pens and nibs are always beautifully finished, and this model is no excpetion. The craftsmanship is excellent, and I personally find the 800 series size to be Pelikan's best, fullest offering. It writes as well as it looks. I hope Pelikan does not change much under its new ownership.

The cream and blue colors as well as the gold trim exuberate elegance.
Excellent craftmanship from Pelikan. The inconspicuous blue ink window is very functional.
The broad nib wrote perfectly no hard starts, no skips.
A must have Pelikan fountain pen.

This is a lovely pen. It looks great and writes superbly. Appelboom tuned it just right - it's a fine nib which writes like a true fine, just as I like it. I can't recommend this pen too much.
