Review Title: Not for European Taste

1st impression (when buying): not a cheap notebook, but japanese. must be good

2nd impression (after unpacking): The notebook offers much.
Not thick for about 170 pages, thin paper cover, Japanese binding, a bookmark, European grid, thicker paper and ivory color.
Looks valuable for it's money.

3rd impression (writing) : Ouch!
I used only fountain pens in 3 different widths, F, M and B. All european style. F did not cause any problem, M and B were not good.
The paper is not a glossy paper and somehow quite rough. Especially the paper quality is quite inconsistent. Some pages are smooth and the writing is excellent then some rougher pages come which make writing very unpleasant.

As said an overall very unpleasant writing, I finally switched to the pen with F nib as it is the best for that paper but that was not satisfying for me.
