I got the blue Nexus pen with silver trim to complement the black Nexus with silver trim I got earlier in the year. This way I can have blue and black inks in the pens, respectively, at all times. In my previous review of the black Nexus, I gave it four stars after using the pen for a couple of weeks. I would amend this and give the Nexus 5 stars because the things that bothered me before (slightly sharp ink window cutout and slightly slippery metal grip section) do not bother me any more. What remains is an amazingly consistent steel nib writer with huge ink capacity. Great daily writer.

I have had the pen for about a week. It is heavier than I expected as 41gr is the uncapped weight! Filling is a lot of fun, comes with pipette and ink bottle of Diplomat blue. The edges of the ink windows are a bit sharp. Outside trim is gold coloured rather than silver, but it suits the blue rather well. The grip is silver coloured. Nib is quite smooth.
