The Opus 88 Mother of Pearl fountain pen is really beautiful and feels substantial in my hands. Unlike other Opus 88 pens, it uses a converter or ink cartridges instead of the syringe filling system. There are two other similar models and I've bought them all and have enjoyed writing Sith them. The Bock nibs are excellent and reliable.

The Black Shell of fountain looks beautiful and the Medium nib writes beautifully. The cap opens after 3 turns, which could be a disadvantage as an everyday carry pen for the office. The grip section of ebonite offers a perfect grip (not slippery). I would recommend the the to 100%. Thanks to Appelboom for the perfect service.
