I have a couple of the regular Pilot Capless pens and have found them to be very practical as there is no uncapping etc. When the LS version was released I was very keen on the idea and am not disappointed! The quality is 10/10 as always with Pilot products and the blue is beautiful with a depth of violet to it. As for the mechanism, it's silky smooth and silent which is lovely. I opted for the fine nib and beware it is like an extra fine. From experience, the medium nibs are too medium and that is my only issue with the Capless per se. I would certainly recommend this pen.

You probably have already tried out the Pilot Capless (vanishing point). It is a great pen. sturdy, solid 18k gold nib, smooth - a great pen.
This one takes it and steps up the game! the mechanism on the original Capless is clicky and ok, sometimes it feels like an ordinary metal clicky pen. i like it, it is... ok. this one is another thing!!! It clicks nicely, good feedback, silent. and it disarms with a twist of the thumb, and the mechanism slowly (around one second) returns the nib. it is smooth, nice and classy. This has become my latest 'grail pen' i do recommend the color, and the engraving looks fantastic! the letters gain a metallic contrast that looks awesome with this color.
