I bought this pen as I wanted an oversized instrument to add to my collection and if you don't trust me that this is an oversized pen just check the specs. It's a very good pen, not a great pen and I will explain a bit later down why I say this. It's beautifully presented by appelboom, ready to be gifted or enjoyed for yourself. The nib is a regular 6 size nib, it writes very well out of the box. So far no troubles skipping or becoming dry. It's a large pen, not super huge, but nonetheless large even for my 8 glove-size hands. The few things that made me say that it is not a great pen are the small things such as : the cap feels somewhat fragile and easily breakable upon falling , it takes 3 and a half complete turns to screw/unscrew, the nib is not as wet as I hoped and it feels a bit scratchy. But all that doesn't make me rate it less than five stars. All in all I highly recommend this pen.

This pen is a serious step up for me. I really love the pen, and I love the broad nib. I can feel the paper as I write, but in a ver pleasant way. I think the ink flow / shut off mechanism is fascinating. The pen is quite big, and I like that very much. I find the design and the feel of it fascinating. I certainly would recommend this pen to others, and I will consider getting one more myself.
