The turquoise ink from Pelikan is a great ink for every day use. It's a vibrant blue which is interesting enough to be ... well .... interesting, but also totally acceptable for office use. It shades really nicely and flows well through any nibs I've tried. I find it a nice alternative to Kon Peki and it performs well in my Lamy 2k in partit.
This Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue ink is a rich blue color with purple tones. The ink flows easily and dries quickly and works in any fountain pen. It’s particularly suited for wet writing nibs. These are good inks in a variety of well saturated colors. The price is reasonable as well.

This is a great black ink, especially for wet nibs. The ink flow is even and the ink dries quickly. I also purchased the royal blue, blue-black, and dark green colors. I can’t wait to try them all. Thank you Appelboom for packing my order so carefully and thank you for the cookies.
This is my first ink from the 4001 series, i opted for the classic blue black. The ink is behaiving well, in my opinion is more fluid as compared with the equivalent (Tanzanite) from the Edelstein series.
I bought two bottles, the violet and the blue black and they are stunning.
The bottles, which are beautiful are the 62,5ml versions, rather than the 30ml ones on the picture, which was a wonderful surprise.
I was looking for a lovely dark purple and as picky as I am, this one is fantastic.
The Pelikan 4001 inks write dry, so if you're looking for quality dry inks, then look no further.
This colour is bright, vibrant and has displayed a bit of a red sheen when the ink is particularly wet.
It behaves wonderfully and is easy to clean out of a pen with water. I have had this in a TWSBI Diamond 580 for some time and there is no sign of staining in the transparent barrel.
