For professional note taking I’m into very affordable blocnotes. For literary writing I am testing several options. I learned about the specific qualities of several brands of paper and experienced the relation between nib size, ink and paper.

And then I discovered this Japanese marvel. The Nakabayashi Yu-Sari Paper B5 Blank Notebook has it all (or almost). The 95g Yu-Sari paper suits all needs at once. The paper is a marvel, inviting my grail pens as well as my stubborn cheapo’s. The size allows me to carry it wherever I go. The only detail that could do with better finishing is the cover. That is very vulnerable and requires special attention if you care for pristine conditions. As I do.
