Review Title: A Real Pleasure

The Montegrappa Casanova fountain pen is a beautiful writing instrument – beautiful to look at, beautiful to hold in the hand and beautiful to write with. It is a real work of art - a feast for the eyes! This pen is ornate with sterling silver and gold accents, reminiscent of Casanova's Venice. The pen is a great example of the fine craftsmanship of Montegrappa. The Casanova comes with a suitably opulent looking scarlet bombe display chest. Despite its weight the pen writes effortlessly. The ink flow is smooth and consistent and refilling with ink is easy and efficient. It is a pleasure to have this fountain pen, complemented as it is by the outstanding customer service from Appelboom.
