I bought this nib ad a second nib for my VP Capless which is my daily writer with F nib. I thought I might be switching to stub on some occassions. It works as designed, and the sub line is just how I like it, not very broad and not very narrow. Good purchase methinks ! Its a bit expensive, but still worth it.
The Capless stub nib insert has a distinctive character right away—crisp enough to give your handwriting some shape, but still smooth on the page. It takes a little getting used to, especially if you’re accustomed to finer, more forgiving nibs. Once you find the right angle and rhythm, though, it feels very good when it’s flowing. My only hesitation is that the feed sometimes seems a touch lean for a stub, as if the nib could use just a bit more ink to really stay at its best.

Im using my capless all the time and wanted to try something new in one of them, so I bought a stub nib (glad I found it here!). I usually use an EF so it‘s really something different. Smooth, wet, great stub lines! For my writing style it‘s not for all I’m writing but great for headers and quote with some nice color
I wanted a Stub nib for the vanishing point without spending a lot of money, so I bought the nib. I can put it in my other Pilot pens (and also the Jinhau 10 - yes, fell down that rabbit whole too).
It's a Pilot nib, no need to say more, a pleasure to write with.
